We are looking for a Finance Analyst with a track record in quickly understanding a financial process and can bring improvements, embedding learnings and controls handing over to the core team.

Duties of the Finance Analyst will include:

• Detailed data analysis to contribute to improved business performance and to understand issues & discrepancies
• Review and evaluate processes related to debtors’ statements, statistical information from insurance systems and accounts
• Taking an active role in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of relevant MI
• Working with the management accountant to develop management reporting and support the business
• Accounts reconciliations including aged debtor reconciliation
• Investigate any anomalous entries in the accounts
• Monitor debtors accounts and escalate any issues of non-compliance
• Administrative and accounting tasks using Excel, Word and accounting software
• Completion of compliance reports for debtors

Abilities and skills required of the Finance Analyst will include:

• Prior experience making process improvements in a Finance teama
• Diligence and attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Intermediate – advanced Excel skills
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to work in a team and unsupervised
