Solutions@Work Hiring for Software Developer at Remote Full Time

Solutions@Work is an IT Solutions company focusing on custom web-based application development, mobile application development, and IT consulting. We are looking for a software developer with knowledge of Microsoft technologies, Java, JavaScript, .Net and Cold Fusion to support new and existing applications on both iOS and android platforms. Experience with SQL database and Adobe Air a plus. We require strong dedication and team work to be successful. Only candidates with a proven track-record of team work and “can do” attitude will be considered.

This role is ideal for candidates who are consultative, creative, a self-starter and willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Testing and evaluating new programs and managing software programs
• Testing and evaluating new programs
• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
• Writing and implementing efficient code
• Determining operational practicality
• Developing quality assurance procedures
• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
• Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
• Training users
• Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

Requirements

• 2-year degree from a trade school, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Goodunderstanding of front-end languages, frameworks, toolkits, and libraries (for example CSS2/3, HTML/5, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON & XML
• Experienced with APIs (JSON/XML)
• Experienced in using version control techniques (git/Subversion)
• Familiarity with ColdFusion Builder
• Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
• The ability to learn new technologies quickly
• An analytical mind
• The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues
• Commercial and business awareness
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data
• Self-starter, who can research and solve problems independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
