Position Purpose

The Program Quoting Specialist is responsible for generating quotes and processing orders for clients and maintaining vendor relationships.

Position Functions:

Quote Products

• Product and labor quote requests are accurately processed utilizing Solution Builders standard deployment standards.
• Quote requests are properly prioritized recognizing some need to be processed more quickly than others.
• Utilize the Solution Builders quoting tools according to Solution Builders best practices for efficient and timely quoting.
• Provide feedback to client technical contacts and the proper Solution Builders staff regarding order status and delivery.
• Manage the product quoting boards in the Solution Builders ticketing system keeping quote status accurate.
• Check in and store equipment safely on a timely basis and properly distribute to technicians for deployment.
• Manage SB vendor relationships.
• Purchase all O365 licenses for clients.

Coordinate Hardware and Software Agreement Renewals

• Track all software and hardware agreement renewals.
• Create quotes for renewals 60 days in advance.
• Send the renewal quotes to clients and follow up on pending quotes.
• Procure and document the renewals. If something at the client site needs to be implemented, inform the project team so the implementation can happen.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Upholds the company policy guidelines as well as recommend new and improved guidelines to insure compatibility and better service at client locations.
• Maintains current technical expertise in the rapidly changing technology of computing and utilizes state-of-the-art techniques when implementing client solutions.
• Maintains a positive attitude and positive working relationship with all departments to optimize working relationships and communication.
• Fulfills department requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administrative notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation or education.
• Performs at or above company performance standards established within the department.
• Responsible for partner management and will need to attend partner meetings and trainings, learn the new info, and disseminate changes to staff and clients as appropriate.
• Other projects as directed by manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• AA, BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, business communications or related field is preferred
• 2+ years of knowledge and experience with personal computer and network components required
• Quoting and ticketing software experience such as QuoteWerks or ConnectWise preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• This position is a majority onsite work at our office in Bloomington, MN.
