As part of a collaborative and dynamic team you will act as an expert on the identification, approach and
interview process with the best talents of our industry.
On a daily basis you will be a support for the HR business units and business partners. You will take part in
assessing needs, and through your expertise in recruitment you will identify and put in place the best practices
for talent acquisition. You will propose innovative solutions to respond to the needs of the business units,
while adhering to timelines.
Your day will look like this:
Under the supervision of the Manager of talent acquisition and attraction strategies, you will notably take on
the following responsibilities:
  • To be the expert on candidate research strategies in order to successfully accomplish the tasks you will
    be assigned
  • In support of our business partners, to participate in needs assessment for the different business units of
    Solotech
  • To carry out searches for potential candidates, using your expertise in recruitment
  • To contact the candidates in various ways, to evaluate and analyse their employment profiles and
    motivations
  • To be in charge of the acquisition process for the roles you will be assigned, from the initial interview
    invitation to the verification of references, including meetings with the candidates (scheduling, role-play
    situations, tests, etc.)
  • At each step, to guarantee an excellent experience for potential candidates at Solotech
  • Through the selection process and external events, to build a solid network of passive and active
    candidates, through continual engagement in proactive dialogues
  • To maintain a positive connection with passive and active candidates in anticipation of future
    opportunities
  • To be an innovating force for the improvement of our strategies for talent research, acquisition and
    attraction
Your profile:
  • University diploma in human resources or other training relevant to the position
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a recruitment position or in talent acquisition, within a
    recruitment firm and/or within a corporate environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent autonomy and cooperative work style
  • Excellent sense of organization and management of priorities
  • Familiarity with an ATS or an HRIS
  • Solid experience in the use of social media as a recruitment tool and for promoting the employer’s
    brand
  • Solid command of sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Knowledge of other tools such as Source Hub, Recruit’em, Profilr, and of Boolean operators (X-ray
    and Y-ray searches is considered essential
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • English/French bilingual, spoken and written
