Solomon Page Hiring for Director Corporate Finance Job at Plano, TX Full Time

Publicly traded financial services client is searching for a Director of Corporate Finance to head up their corporate financial planning and analysis function and support the organization’s long-term financial strategy. The role will be integral in the Company’s annual budget and forecast processes, and management financial reporting. The group also analyzes financial trends while advising executives of their impact and supporting corporate development efforts. The Director of Corporate Finance will play an important role in the Company’s external reporting and investor relations processes, and the preparation of board materials.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecast processes for the Company
• Drive the month-end internal reporting process
• Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variances
• Provide in-depth analysis of financial results and develop talking points around variance analysis to present to key business leaders
• Interpret financial data and translate information to facilitate non-finance leaders understanding of metrics
• Prepare board & executive management presentations and reports
• Provide financial guidance to the CEO, CFO and other leaders as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 8+ years of progressive experience
• MBA/CPA preferred
• Large multi-divisional public company experience, including support of investor-facing information
• Strong technical abilities: advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communications skills and experience presenting to Executives and Board Members

Company is on a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office.
