The Process and Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring our products meet our customers’ requirements and that our production processes are capable and consistent. The position is also involved in all plant quality management systems, lab and production operations, and customer interaction with regard to quality and product applications. The successful candidate will have demonstrated accomplishments in prior roles and will continue to develop knowledge and skills in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Identify and implement corrective action, preventive action, and continuous improvement projects and goals that lead to increased customer satisfaction and tangible business improvements
· Analyze data and results on all aspects of company performance to align improvement projects to strategic goals
· Implement, develop, and improve the company’s IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 systems
· Respond to and resolve customer technical service requests and product performance issues
· Develop staff at all levels in lean six sigma tools and methods, train staff to appropriate levels of abilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or related discipline
· Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
· Utilization of data systems, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing methods for Continuous Improvement
· Minitab statistical analysis experience
· Effective verbal and written communications
· Business and financial intelligence
· Strong planning, resourcing, and delegation skills
· Ability to engage with and care for others, starting with safety
· Ability to achieve results quickly, both individually and through teams
· Demonstrates cooperation and collaboration
