The Patient Access Operations Manager will directly oversee the day-to-day operations of the Patient Ambassador team with the goal of providing a timely, consistent and quality onboarding experience for our patients and referral partners as well as our internal operations and sales partners. Responsibilities include:

• Provides leadership, support, coaching, development, and training for the Patient Ambassador team, to ensure a timely and quality onboarding experience.
• Monitors team and employee level performance for Quality, Speed and Customer Service on a daily and monthly basis.
• Responsible for ing and monitoring patient access operations metrics, using data to recognize and take actions needed to improve patient onboarding experience.
• Coordinates and Collaborates with Industry Relations Including but not limited to support of
• Manufacturer agreements with patient intake coordination requirements by way of education and implementation with the patient ambassador team.
• Provides exceptional customer service to external and internal customers, resolving any customer requests in a timely and accurate manner and acts as the primary point person for troubleshooting issues and handling escalations.
• Recruits, develops, and manages Patient Ambassador team, conducting periodic reviews of ongoing staffing needs
• Monitors team adherence to existing policies and procedures and assists with creation and implementation of new policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 5-10 years of benefit verification/Intake management experience
• Experience in Home Infusion or Specialty Pharmacy
• Working knowledge of HCPCs, CPT, and ICD-10 coding
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities within a changing environment
• Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Highly effective in working objectively with a diverse group of people and must demonstrate communication, organizational, administrative and office managerial skills.
