Sol Aureus College Preparatory is committed to high student achievement and teaching excellence. The expectation is that all of our students will graduate from 8th grade performing at or above grade level in all subject areas, particularly reading, writing, and math. As stated in the mission, we also expect all of our students to be prepared to compete and be successful in college and life. The role of a Sol Aureus teacher is multi-faceted. Responsibilities

• Arrive at 7:30 am to prepare for the day (school day – 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Mon.-Fri.)
• Teach in a classroom focusing on the core subjects (Math, Science, English and History) using the S.A. C Prep framework (based on State Standards).
• Be able to complete and turn in weekly lesson plans and scope and sequence bi-annually.
• Be available for students to help with assigned work.
• Be available to start July 26th for professional development and orientation.
• Ability to work with others effectively.

Requirements

• BA degree & Valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential / Single Subject Teaching Credential
• Criminal background check & fingerprinting

Pay: $47,000.00 – $94,000.00 per year
