Our Business

TMT Finance is positioned in the Investment Banking Division and is responsible for structuring debt financings (i.e. leveraged buyouts, infrastructure financing and acquisition financing) to private equity, infrastructure sponsors and leveraged corporates active in the Telecom, Media and Technology sectors. The team won TMT Financing Bank of the Year in EMEA in 2019 and 2020, reflecting the bank’s lead positions on the most significant TMT deals across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on financing pitches and marketing materials, primarily for private equity and infrastructure sponsors.
• Analysis of the target company (business, market, strategy, financials, investment merits, risks) for the credit memo, information memorandum and lender presentation during the syndication process.
• Preparation of the financial model. This involves LBO modelling, financial statement analysis, and development of operating assumptions.
• Work closely with a range of teams across the investment bank, including capital markets, M&A, rating advisory and IFD (interest rates, FX and derivatives).
• Assist the team with managing the portfolio of borrowers and clients.

Qualifications

Essentials Skills:

• A minimum of a 2:1 (or equivalent) from a top tier university. Strong preference for graduates with a numerate degree (economics, engineering, maths, etc…).
• Strong interest in the TMT sector.
• Accounting and corporate finance knowledge.
• Financial modelling skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Ability to communicate articulately.
• Work effectively within a team.
• Client focused.
• Fluency in English.

Desirable Skills:

Master degree in a numerate subject.
