We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic developer to join a small, closely knit IT team who thrive on delivering excellent service to our customers.

Your primary role with be developing and supporting solutions delivered using C# however, you will have the opportunity to work with or support other activities outside of your core competencies.

This role is key to the organisations ambition plans for our digital services, and you will be joining at an exciting time as enter the final stages of our 3-year corporate strategy and work towards setting our strategy for the next 3 years.

What you will do

• Develop custom solutions using your skills in C#, .NET Core, Node.js and Appian.
• Be trained in Appian, a low code development environment, to support the rapid deliv-ery of business solutions.
• Work closely with business analysts and product owners to deliver application changes requested by business functions.
• Help maintain code quality with a high level of automated test coverage.
• Mentor and coach junior developer.
• Collaborate in reviews of specifications.
• Clearly communicate technical decisions and estimates.
• Adherence and maintaining engineering best practice to other team members.

• Propose technical and creative solutions to organisational requirements.
