Are you passionate about how participation in culture and research creates meaningful social change? The University of Cambridge Museums (UCM) is seeking a collaborative Social Value Impact Coordinator to help build the case for the social, economic and place-based impact of engagement with its collections.
Working as part of a new Impact team, you’ll develop and deliver a series of evaluation case studies focused on participation across our eight museums, the Botanic Garden, the University Libraries and Archives, and local partners. You’ll generate high-quality evidence that captures meaningful change for participants and strengthens the way we understand, communicate and advocate for the value of collections-based engagement.
About You
We’re looking for someone with experience of planning and delivering evaluation activity in participation or engagement contexts, with the ability to apply methods that generate robust and meaningful insights. You’ll be confident working with both qualitative and quantitative data, and able to translate findings into insights that inform practice, policy and advocacy.
You’ll have an understanding of how evaluation connects to wider social and cultural policy contexts, and an interest in social value approaches. You’ll be comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and partners, building relationships and navigating varied priorities.
If you’re interested in using evidence to support more inclusive, impactful engagement with collections and research, we’d love to hear from you.
