We’re Social Fixation, a passionate team of social media enthusiasts who absolutely love what we do! Specialising in the FMGC industry, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some amazing food and beverage brands that you may know and love. With our agency growing, we’re now in search of a Social Media Coordinator to join our team and bring the vibes to the table. This will be a casual/part-time position with 18-25 hours a week.

Your role at Social Fixation

• Nurture and cultivate strong client relationships, providing regular and tailored communications to meet their specific needs.
• Strategise, coordinate, and oversee photoshoots, effectively liaising with photographers and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Create and execute monthly client strategies within outlined deadlines.
• Efficiently plan, schedule, and copyright content for up to 12 client accounts, maximising their social media presence and impact.
• Maintain a unified tone of voice across different social media channels for clients.
• Collaborate harmoniously within a cross-functional team, collaborating closely with graphic designers and video editors for cohesive campaigns.
• Generate imaginative and compelling content ideas, taking proactive measures to bring them to life and captivate your client’s target audience.
• Maintain a pulse on social media trends, keeping marketing strategies up to date and in line with the current industry.

About you:

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated proficiency or familiarity with Buffer or Notion is highly regarded.
• Have knowledge and experience in how an agency operates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Strong ability to work independently and capable of working in a small cross-functional team.
• Familiar with SPRINT meetings.
• Comfortable in front of a camera.
• Bonus points if you’re familiar with automation or have experience in managing/assisting a studio.
• Have some knowledge of Melbourne’s hospitality culture. e.g you love Broadsheet/Urban List
