Snowden Onsite Septic Hiring for Customer Service Representative at Austin, TX Full Time

Primary Responsibilities:

• Answer questions, research problems, resolve issues, provide pricing, and schedule service.
• Conduct telephone conversations with customers about their service needs in a professional manner.
• Enter service-related notes in field service software.
• Conduct follow-up telephone calls with customers as directed.
• Maintain customer files on computer and in filing system.
• Validate technician paperwork for completeness and accuracy.
• Update notes in system with technician information.
• Have a basic knowledge of technician’s job and of company’s processes.
• Adhere to all applicable Snowden On-Site, Inc. policies and standards.
• Properly follow telephone etiquette procedures.
• Ability to calm and diffuse angry customers.
• Escalate appropriate inquiries or problems to managers.
• Collect and reconcile payments on customer invoices by credit card or check in QB Online.
• Send s to customers and various local agencies.
• Compile timesheets and send information to payroll service.
• Prepare deposits in QB Online, submit electronically by courier if needed.
• Make phone calls and send out email notices to customers to renew their service agreements.
• Complete onboarding processes to create new service agreement customers.
• Transmit packages of completed inspections to regulatory agencies, weekly.
• Attend all required Staff Meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Education/Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of successful customer service experience in a similar service/dispatch environment.
• Intermediate level customer service skill and technique.
• Intermediate level understanding of computers.
• Entry level skill on use of company telephone features and how to use them.
• Will train on company specific processes and systems.
• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must successfully pass background and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Candidates must meet physical job requirements and safely perform the job duties without accommodation.
• Such as: open the gates, unlock doors, climb steps to office, turn on computer and related equipment.
