Snow Queen Winter Management Hiring for Administrative Assistant at Vancouver, BC Full Time

Snow Queen Winter Management, one of Vancouver’s largest winter service providers, is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our administrative team.

The world of winter services is thrilling and often fast-paced at the peak of our favorite season. The ideal candidate will be able to learn our proprietary management software and will demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team while meeting tight deadlines. Excellent time management, and organizational skills are required as they may be handling multiple tasks simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively in English and problem-solve independently. They will also be proficient in document and spreadsheet creation with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace Suite.

This part time, contract based, remote position is perfect for a self-starter who is seeking flexibility, up to a 100 hours of work monthly and opportunities for advancement. Due to the seasonal nature of our industry the majority of our business is done from the fall through to the spring.

Overview

Under the general supervision of an Administrative Supervisor, and reporting to Snow Queen’s Operation Manager, an Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative support functions such as:

• Typing technical and non-technical material utilizing Google Docs.

• Entering, maintaining & cross-referencing data inputs into management software.

• Handling incoming & outgoing phone calls, and monitoring corporate email accounts.

• Corresponding and delegation of information to contractors & team members.

• Creation of spreadsheets utilizing Google Sheets.

• Other various tasks that may be assigned.
