Full Job Description

We are looking for an Human Resources, Recruitment Representative & Safety Director at Snow Entities located in Hurley, WI. Snow Entities consists of 5 separate entities located in the Hurley Industrial Park pertaining to the Hardwood Lumber Industry. Our facilities include a Sawmill, Dry Kiln Facility, Hardwood Flooring Plant, Harwood Pellet Facility and Trucking company. Our ideal candidate is driven, motivated, capable of working independently with little direction, but can also work in a group setting, personable with a strong sense of leadership and management. This role requires a passion to serve others and will support the day-to-day HR needs, Safety Training, Permitting and recruitment. We are seeking a driven individual who has a proven track record of seeking, hiring, and training employees. Ideal candidate is seeking long-term employment with a company that values their employees like family.

Job Outline:

• To Promote, advertise, and recruit a work force of laborers
• Promotion and advertising on multiple social media channels, website, etc.
• Serve as a liaison between management and employees by handling questions and interpreting and administering policy on a daily basis
• Explore housing options if new employees need assistance
• Development of an employee referral program
• Translation of all company manuals, policies and safety information/signage
• Support internal training initiatives including the facilitation of new employee orientation, employee training and leadership education.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR regulations, legislation, and compliance providing expertise and support to the organization. Ensure HR processes are in compliance with all regulations and laws.
• English classes to teach non English-speaking employees words and phrases related to their scope of work to communicate with management
• Directing safety training of all new hires and annual safety trainings
• Annual permitting for businesses

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:

Pay: Negotiable- Base plus hiring bonuses per new hire
