SNI has partnered with a leader in Global Logistics for an amazing opportunity as a Logistics Support Specialist, working cross functionally within multiple departments!

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be supporting various departments including Import / Export for Ocean and Air along with Domestic Trucking and Accounting.

This opportunity immerses you in every aspect of the logistics industry and gaining a versatile knowledge / skill set.

Responsibilities :

• Tracking and tracing shipments for Air, Ocean and Domestic Trucking
• Prepare, handle and process documentation-including house and master bills of lading, commercial documents and customs / regulatory documents.
• Accurate data entry into AS400 system
• Spreadsheet data entry in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain compliance standards at all times internal policies, government regulations and customer requirements.
• Provide department support and assist various department managers with ad hoc projects.
• Application process, data entry, monthly closing
• Billing support, handling and validating invoices

Qualifications :

• 2-5 years in Logistics / Freight industry
• Prior experience with SAP and AS400 a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills – ability to listen, comprehend and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Bachelors Degree Preferred
