Smiths Medical, now part of ICU Medical, is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist II in Austin, TX.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist II is responsible for excellent service throughout the talent acquisition process, and is a brand ambassador for Smiths Medical. This role will be interacting with both internal and external stakeholders, while promoting a positive hiring process for all parties involved.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize innovative sourcing techniques – Leverage technology to attract passive and active candidate.
• Lead recruitment kick off conversations with Hiring Managers and Human Resources.
• Source candidates via applicant tracking system (ATS), candidate databases, and additional internal and external tools to identify the best pool candidates for the opportunity.
• Participate and further develop Smiths diversity initiatives.
• Partner with RPO (Cielo) to accomplish recruiting goals and objectives.
• Prepare candidates interview process (phone screens, on site interview, candidate travel, etc.
• Provide timely communication to the candidates, hiring managers and other partners in the recruitment process.
• Partner to build, drive and participate in recruiting events IE: Virtual career fairs, college career fairs, diversity events and more.
• This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
• Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement.

THE INDIVIDUAL

• University Degree (BA degree) required.
• 3-5 years of Recruiting experience.
• Medical device/regulated industry experience preferred.
• Experience with an applicant tracking system(s).
• Knowledge and experience working with EEOC requirements.
• Experience leading executive leadership level searches.
• Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
