Smartific IT Solutions Hiring for IT Technician at Bedford, NS Full Time

The right candidate for this role will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, like installing and maintaining computer hardware and software. The job also involves providing software and operating system training. You will troubleshoot issues with computers, servers, printers, phones and other peripherals. As an It Technician, you should know Windows and OS X operating systems, networking technologies, as well as data comms & telecom technologies. We also need you to be competent with various security applications used by companies today (e.g., anti-virus, patch management systems).

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-level support to end-users of software, hardware and systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues on desktop, laptop and mobile systems.
• Revise, install and upgrade software and hardware.
• Set up user accounts, email accounts and access privileges or restore data from backups.
• Configure workstations with new equipment.
• Perform tasks related to the daily operations of the network (patching,logging,etc.).
