Smartepants Hiring for Part-Time Teacher at Hood River, OR Full Time

We are looking for a committed Teacher to complement our Preschool . You will be responsible for preparing and implementing a educational teaching plan according to the school’s requirements. It will be fundamental to provide knowledge and instruction to students while also helping them develop their personalities and skills. They will know how to organize a class and make learning an easy and meaningful process while making learning fun and exciting.

Responsibilities

• Present lessons in a fun, enthusiastic, and exciting way to encourage learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Assess and record students’ progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
• Maintain a tidy, orderly, and clean classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers and parents and participate in regular staff meetings
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by earning 15 continuing education hours a year.

• Current CPR, First Aid card, Food Handlers, and Recognizing and Reporting Abuse

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour
