Bugsnag is an error-monitoring tool for a wide range of platforms used by 5,000 engineering teams worldwide, including Airbnb, Slack, Pinterest, Docker, EA and Microsoft. We process over 1 billion crash reports daily from 85,000 applications, and help our customers to identify, prioritize and fix bugs.
Our Engineering hub in Bath first opened in 2015 with 5 people and the Engineering team has since grown to 30+ engineers.

We’re looking for Junior Software Engineers to join our team in Bath, UK. The successful candidates will be based out of our modern Bath office alongside an agile team of talented, like-minded individuals. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge languages and technologies, supported by modern hardware and software appropriate for your role.

As a Junior Engineer, you could be:
- Investigating and resolving issues reported by our highly technical customer base
- Supporting our customers to make the best use of Bugsnag
- Developing Bugsnag’s real-time error report processing systems and customer-facing dashboard
- Contributing to Bugsnag’s open source error reporting libraries
- Working closely with other engineers and teams on new product features
What you will bring to the role
- University degree in a STEM subject where modules have involved programming
- Demonstrable skill with at least one programming language
- You enjoy collaborating with others and working within a team
- You are a self-starter, keen to learn new skills and love solving problems
Bonus points for
- Relevant engineering experience, e.g. industrial placement, final year project, side project, open source contributions
- Experience with any of the following:
- Java / Go
- JavaScript / Node.js
- Ruby / Rails
- Mobile app development (Android or iOS)
