About SASH:

The Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) was established in North Ryde, Sydney in 2007 with a second hospital opening on the Central Coast of New South Wales in 2017. We are also excited to announce that we recently opened a brand-new purpose-built specialist veterinary facility in South Australia in early November 2021. As we continue to expand our services Australia-wide, our core purpose remains the same, which is to help pets and their families live their best life.

SASH is the largest veterinary specialist hospital facility in the Southern Hemisphere. We are privileged to care for over 25,000 pets and their families each year. SASH offers a wide range of specialist services including Anaesthesia, Avian & Exotics, Cardiology, Dermatology, Internal Medicine, Neurology/Neurosurgery, Medical and Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Physiotherapy, Radiology, Reproduction Medicine, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation, Surgery and a renowned 24-hour Emergency and Critical Care department.

About the Role:
As one of our People & Culture Advisors, you will play a significant role in the overall provision of the People & Culture experience and supporting the implementation of our strategy across the organisation.
Key responsibilities include:

• Deliver and implement people initiatives across the SASH network, focused on improving the people experience including policy development, onboarding and supporting the roll out of remuneration and benefits strategy and other People & Culture initiatives
• Provide day-to-day generalist advice and support to various leaders and stakeholders
• Partner with our Talent Acquisition team and hiring leaders to ensure seamless onboarding and positive people experience
• Manage the People & Culture systems and reporting as required. Looking for continuous improvement opportunities and data analytics
• Review and update SASH policies, procedures and guidelines in accordance with legislation
• General People & Culture administration – ensuring all People & Culture documentation is prepared and documented with accuracy and timeliness
• Promote a strong culture in line with SASH values and behaviours
• Support the People Connect Team Leader in delivering People & Culture projects and planning

About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organised individual to join our growing People & Culture team. To be considered for this position, you will have:

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or business
• Minimum 18 months experience in a similar Advisor role or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills including analysis of data
• Ability to develop highly effective working relationships
• High level organisational skills with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
• Have a flexible approach to your work
• Have a strong drive for self-development
• Good sense of humour
• Willingness to travel to different sites from time to time
