We create original, cutting-edge content for websites, social media, digital marketing, videos, campaigns and more. Everything we do is dynamic, optimised for search and multi-platform, and designed to get brands seen by the right people, in the right place, at the right time. Slice was founded in London in 2018 and is based in Adelaide. Our clients range from tech start-ups and local businesses to global companies. We’re growing – fast! – and are looking for a social media specialist to plan, write, create, publish, manage, and moderate content for our clients across various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Who you are
You’re a social media native who loves and consumes everything digital. You spend more time on Instagram than you know you should, know what’s trending on Reels and TikTok on any given day, and know your way around scheduling tools with your eyes shut.Â
You’ll be tapped into what’s driving conversation, what people are interacting with, and what technology they’re using to stay connected. You’re insatiably curious, and you love finding out what makes people tick.Â
You’re a self-starter, comfortable with failure, can move and iterate fast, and get excited by the challenge of creating groundbreaking social content that helps brands stand out from the crowd.Â
You will be an exceptionally strong copywriter, and know how to flex your tone for different audiences. You’ll have perfect spelling and grammar, and can pick up an errant apostrophe from a mile away.Â
You’ll have some analytics experience, you’ll need to feel comfortable pulling data, analysing the performance of your content and using those insights to iterate and improve your content.
You don’t need to be a trained designer (you’ll be working alongside a visual content creator dedicated to creating images and assets for your social channels) but you will need a sharp eye for what kind of imagery commands attention in the feed. You’ll need to be confident briefing in creative to our designer, as well as using Canva (or the Adobe suite) to create simple social assets. Experience creating video content for Reels and TikTok is a must.
This role would suit someone who’s had 2-3 years’ experience in social media and is looking for their next challenge in a creative, collaborative agency environment.Â
