The Opportunity

We are recruiting a ASME Production Leader to efficiently manage and coordinate the flow of work on the production floor. As a leader, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety and ongoing development of your team, consistent production of high-quality products, while meeting all company and customer expectations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Responsible for certifying welding qualification documents and quality control documents

Develop, prepare and review all changes of Welding Procedure Specifications

Certify and control Procedure Qualification Records

Assist in welding material control and and welding material storage, protection and distribution among the production floor.

Spending considerable time on the shop floor leading and coaching the department and employees on job roles and responsibilities.

Ensuring all employees are properly trained on all related procedures, processes and usage of equipment

Working with the Leadership team to ensure consistency and accountability in employee relations

The Ideal Candidate

Strong technical background with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ASME

Working knowledge of ASME section 12

Possess leadership qualities with an ability to direct and motivate employees

Experience planning and organizing to be able to effectively oversee and monitor the production process

Sound judgement and the ability to act decisively and solve employee or equipment related problems

Proactive and goal-oriented to make improvements in systems and procedures

Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork

Ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet deadlines
