Developer

Job purpose

To work as part of the Development Team to manage and develop our user journey and follow/create technical specifications to develop new functionality.

Role description

· Create & Improve code for our existing line of products

· Analyse technical requirements and produce efficient software solutions.

· Work closely with the system architect, UI designers and support staff

· Work with our offshore team

· Maintain our existing systems

· Conduct testing and create unit tests for completed software

· Ensure projects are completed on time and to specification

Qualifications, experience and knowledge

· 3-5 years of software development

· Proficient with visual studio 2013 and 2017

· Problem-solving skills

· Ability to prioritise and manage project planning

· Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot web and mobile solutions

· Excellent knowledge of VB.net, c sharp

· Entity Framework and LINQ

· Familiarisation with MVC4 and Xamarin

· Familiarisation with HTML, CSS, JQuery and Javascript

· Software installation and maintenance

· Data extraction, transformation and loading

· SQL, particularly MySQL

· Data modelling and effective database design

· Working with developers to design good software

Salary: £45,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
