SLA Management is seeking a Director of Talent Acquisition to join our growing team!

Principal Objective:

Partner Develop and maintain strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Shared Services, and Business Leaders Manage recruiting-related projects as needed employment branding, candidate experience enhancements, and talent acquisition. training.

What You’ll Do:
Assist with sourcing talent from various sources including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Indeed, Indeed Connect, job boards, search engines, and other recruitment sites.

• Recruitment Strategy and Systems
• Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
• Determine selection criteria.
• Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks).
• Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews.
• Complete other duties or ad hoc requests as assigned by the Director.
• Serve as thought leader of Network Support Team hiring strategy.
• Serve as strategic thought partner on network staff recruitment to senior leaders.
• Create and implement systems that drive efficient, equitable, and high quality hiring.
• Support and train ADP hiring managers on hiring best practices (anti-bias training, interview questions bank, selection tips, Lever, and equitable hiring practices).
• Contribute to building Rocketship brand as employer of choice.
• Manage partnerships with search firms to supplement hiring efforts.
• Ensure transparent and equitable communication and access to internal opportunities for all staff.
• Review, approve, and manage organization of job descriptions.
• Meet regularly with regional leaders to assess hiring needs, set regional recruitment
• strategy, and provide hiring advising and support.
• Manage, promote, and communicate internal career growth opportunities.
• Gather, review, and analyze data on network staff recruitment and hiring.
• Manage partnerships and pipelines for Network Support Team candidates.
• Identify and nurture diverse external talent pipelines.
• Facilitate an exceptional recruitment experience for all candidates.
• Continually hit target sourcing goals established on a month-by-month basis (number of messages sent, messages accepted, cultivation calls, applicants)
• Utilize creativity and independent judgment to implement ‘outside the box’ recruiting techniques to source candidates using the internet, social media, and other online resources.
• Maintain candidate records and track recruitment metrics (e.g., candidates yielded by each source, time to hire, etc.) to evaluate and improve hiring efficiency.
• Conduct cultivation calls to engage high potential candidates and motivate them to apply.
• Manage internal postings on applicant tracking system.
• Utilize applicant tracking system to review resumes and application materials to determine whether to advance candidates.
• Conduct resume screens and first round phone screens.
• Manage candidate communication through application and screening process.
• Design interview processes and coordinate all candidate and interviewer scheduling.
• Manage all materials for candidates and interviewers.
• Conduct interview follow up such as reference checks and offer letter requests. Coordinate with regional leaders and hiring managers as needed.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills to inspire top educators to have an interest in and eventually join Rocketship Public Schools.
• Ability to effectively use search engines, job sites, social networks, and other tools.
• Ability to use Applicant Tracking System to track candidates.
• Eye for talent in the education sector.
• Attention to detail and excellent follow through.
• Provide data to Executive Committee as requested.

Education and Experience:

Required: 5 or more years in multi-state hiring role.
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Business.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
