What you’ll do
Group Technology Digital Transformation
Want to create a smooth and uninterrupted digital experience for millions of customers? Then our Group Technology Digital Transformation is the team for you. Agile, collaborative, data-driven and diverse, our team works on brilliant products like NOW and Peacock. That’s not even the best part. We get to build our own software and our work has a global stage. Our team also delivers exceptional customer experiences and defines digital first propositions in customer journeys across all channels.
- Contribute to the existing Automation test packs (with help from the team). Help with releases by using CI/CD tools
- Provide estimations for testing effort on features and requirements, by working closely with Business Analysts & Product Owners. This includes being part of three amigos sessions to define testing scenarios/cases against feature acceptance criteria
- Create test cases & plans for feature deliverables. Create and source test data for testing
- Act as champion within your role suggesting new ways of working to help grow and make the test team work better
- Represent the testing team on meetings where required to deliver your squads sprint deliverables
- Provide real time reporting on testing execution to the Agile Test Lead.
- Driving your team to implement the best test practices by leading on defining the test requirements at refinement/ pre amigos stages.
- Defect management (manage and own their defects through to resolution)
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience as a Test Analyst
- Willing to think automation first and champion this, with some understanding of writing Automation tests
- Knowledge of using CI/CD and version control tools such as Concourse, Octopus, Git
- Extensive web, mobile, and app testing experience
- The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic Agile environment.
- Experience using test tools such as JIRA/Confluence/BrowserStack, Postman
- SQL experience
