Our team develops and operates Sky’s Broadcast infrastructure and content delivery systems across DTH, On Demand and OTT delivery platforms. The successful candidate will work with a team of highly skilled cross functional Software, Test and DevOps Engineers, collectively ensuring that the right content arrives at the right destination at the right time.
What you’ll do:
  • Develop high quality software using agile techniques such as Test-Driven Development and Pair Programming
  • Actively be involved in all aspects of the agile delivery cycle for the team, cross functional, from definition of ready through to definition of done
  • Drive best software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm
  • Strive for continuous improvement within the team and the department.
What you’ll bring:
  • Full stack engineer with extensive experience in Java (Spring boot)
  • Active and recent experience with development in React and Groovy
  • Have ideally worked with automated continuous delivery and deployment (e.g. Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes etc), and automated testing (JUnit, Spring and Cucumber)
  • Experience of software development for resilient, high availability and performant web-based services/systems, including configurable restful Microservices
