This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Group Talent Acquisition team, part of our wider Group HR team, to drive the recruitment of talent for our Sky Data teams. Our Sky Data team combines a hard-working team of Engineers, Analysts, Scientists and Programme Managers with outstanding data platforms to deliver value for Sky.

Using innovative sourcing strategies and more traditional recruitment methods you’ll identify and engage with active and passive candidates, handling the offer and on-boarding process, as well as giving feedback to each candidate in a professional and timely manner.

What you’ll do:

You’ll be responsible for leading recruitment activities including but not limited to:

• Partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and plan the sourcing strategy.
• Sourcing niche or senior candidates from a range of appropriate sources.
• Advertising roles using the relevant channels available, social media campaigns and recruitment events where appropriate.
• Lead the on and off-line response to adverts including conducting telephone screening and skill/experience review.
• Undertake detailed screening to include competency-based interviewing where required.
• Provide advice and feedback on the candidate marketplace, and creative alternatives to meeting the requirements.
• Support the wider Diversity and Inclusion strategy, educating Hiring Managers, exploring alternative attraction channels.

What you’ll bring:

• Specialist recruitment experience preferably in Data Technology – Data Engineering, Cloud Architecture, Data Science, Data Governance
• Effective communications skills, ability to build relationships with stakeholders up to MD level.
• Evidence of recruiting across several skills within data and technology across various sectors and leading multiple campaigns and roles.
• Experience of recruiting mid – senior level roles for blue chip organisations.
• Proficient at crafting creative and innovative ways to source talent.
• Competency based interviewing at all levels.
• Excellent team working skills, as you will be collaborating with cross functional teams and peers across different projects
