The Opportunity

As the Software Engineer Manager for Skipcart you will provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of our business. You will communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure our company’s technologies are used appropriately. Strategic thinking and strong business acumen are essential in this role. You should be well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

Responsibilities

• Hire, build, grow, and develop high-performing technical teams
• Use technology to generate value for a company and help it achieve its business objectives
• Develop a technology vision and strategy that will allow the company to thrive and build a solid competitive advantage
• Drive core technology investments that underpin the business operations
• Optimize and maintain technology that supports the business model and operations
• Assess and ensure technology investments are on track to yield a strong financial return
• Budget effectively for the organization’s technology needs
• Manage a large portfolio of projects and balance a range of stakeholders
• Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes
• Keep an eye on emerging technology trends, use customer intelligence, watch competitors, and the external market
• Understand how technology can achieve company objectives and how to utilize it to do so

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 – $200,000.00 per year
