Skills Training UK have an exciting opportunity for an English Tutor to join our team based in Ealing who will be responsible for the planning and delivery of Functional Skills English. You will join us on a full-time, temporary basis (maternity cover for up to 12 months) and in return, you will receive a* competitive salary of £25,000 – £28,000 per annum.*

The English Tutor role:
This role will require the delivery of Functional Skills English content (Level 2) plus possibly delivery of GCSE English (resit). You will be highly motivated in wanting to make a difference in the lives of our learners whilst also ensuring a success rate of 95% for the qualification.
What we’re looking for in our English Tutor:

• Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, PTLL’s, DTLL’s or equivalent
• Level 2 qualifications in English
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering up to and including Level 2 functional skills
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with young people aged 16-24
