A fantastic opportunity has come available for a Senior Structures Engineer Design to work with our Client in Chelmsford, on a permanent basis. Salary starting from £50,000 up to £55,000 (depending on experience) + Package

As a Senior Structures Engineer Design you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader with carrying out Technical Approvals, Pre planning advice in regard to highway structures and also to carrying out structural reviews.

To be successful in the role Senior Structures Engineer Design you will:

• To assist in budgetary control and ensure that financial management is undertaken throughout areas of responsibility.
• To prepare, design, plan, programme highway structures works and services
• To provide assistance to the Team Leader in relation to all aspects covered within the group and deputise in
  their absence.
• To assist in the management and monitoring of works programmes or services

The ideal candidate for this Senior Structures Engineer Design  role will have the following :

• a minimum of 5 years of experience working on the delivery of highway structures schemes.
• Civil Engineering Degree or equivalent high level qualification, or significant experience in Structures.
• Membership of or working towards membership of a relevant Professional Institution (ICE, IStructE).
• Design Expertise with Eurocodes and modern standards, DMRB
• Experience and good working knowledge of structural design software.
• Extensive knowledge and application of Highway Legislation, relevant structures design procedures, standards and good practice.
• Hold a valid driving licence
