Skilled Careers Looking for Intermediate/Senior Engineer at City Of London Full Time

This Civil Engineering team, part of a medium/large business, pride themselves on designing innovative and sustainable civil engineering and infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a London office to play a leading role in the development of the civil engineering team and the design of some of the most exciting and prestigious projects in the UK and internationally.
• Working alongside a team of specialist engineers and technicians, as well as colleagues across a range of various engineering disciplines, you will ensure the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
• You will take responsibility for all aspects of design across a numerous and varied portfolio of civil engineering projects, concerned predominantly with infrastructure within the built environment.
• Be well versed in relevant civil design software such as AutoCAD, MicroDrainage and Civil 3D
• Be able to lead either an Individual or team of Graduate Civil Engineers

You will have the opportunity over time to assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop and will be supported towards Chartership (CEng).

Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level in Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng)
• Having already achieved or working towards achieving chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng or equivalent)
• Should have demonstrable experience in a Civil Engineering role within a consultancy environment.

You should have relevant experience in civil engineering design including the design of infrastructure ( roads, drainage, public realm, earthworks, utility infrastructure) for both highway and drainage authorities (design to adoptable standards) and developers, taking schemes from initial concept through to construction.
