Job Summary
Working within a hybrid role serving sites based in Exeter and Plymouth the role serves as the functional leader for one or more key HR responsibilities with major focus on associate relations, compliance, training, engagement and other HR functions.
Responsible for designing and implementation of project, strategy and planning, such as Implementing effective people strategies that build people capabilities improve the employee experience of the organisation as a workplace and support business growth.
Principal Accountabilities
Supports Senior Leadership Team through periods ramp-up
To advise, coach and support on all Employee Relations issues affecting the business including re-organisation, sickness absence, disciplinary, capability, grievance meetings, poor performance etc
Manage complex ER and Capability cases and support Performance Development Plans
Plans associate relations goals and action items to meet site goals and improve employee retention.
Analyses past performance and recommends appropriate actions.
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Recommends solutions and follows up as needed.
Proficient user of MS Suite (including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook).
Ability to navigate the Internet and corporate Intranet, including how to search and research.
What you’ll need in order to be successful
Generally 5 or more years progressively responsible experience as a Human Resources Manager.
Generalist, or Specialist with experience in associate relations, learning and development, problem and conflict resolution and recruiting non-exempt personnel in a high-volume environment.
Experience managing, coaching, and developing others.
Experience demonstrating extensive knowledge, interpretation, and application of employment laws.
Extensive knowledge of employment law
Demonstrable experience if delivering HR training and development programs.
Strong stakeholder management experience
Experienced in leading positive change.
Call Center industry experience preferred.
Degree or equivalent required.
CIPD qualification required
