Siteforce Labour Solutions are currently seeking to fill the following position:

ACCOUNTS AND PAYROLL OFFICER – CAIRNS

Key Responsibilities

· Overall ability to assist with accounting functions including wages, debtors, creditors and general ledger

· Assist with the processing of transactions for all accounting ledgers including banking and cash transactions

· Understanding of management systems in relation to stores and stock. Assist with the input and checking of inventory system records

· Assist with the preparation of timely & accurate weekly and monthly reconciliations, including BAS returns, GST, Payroll Taxes, Superannuation and Portable Long Service Leave

· Liaison with site project & Operations Managers where necessary for flow of information

· Liaison with outside third parties, such as government departments and industry bodies, where necessary

· Assistance with reception duties and answering telephone calls and e-mails

· Assistance with the preparation of spreadsheets and reports as required

· High level of integrity & professionalism

Skills and Experience

· Minimum of 3+ years of experience in payroll and/or finance and/or in a similar role

· Demonstrated expertise in financial and HR/payroll processing

· Sound knowledge of MYOB

· Accounts payable and accounts receivable invoicing and processing

· Ability to reconcile bank accounts and credit cards

Job Location: Cairns

Duration: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP
Roster: 5 Day Week (Monday to Friday)

Hours Per Week: 8am to 4pm

Pay: $55,000-$60,000 per annum Salary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
