Job FamilySummary: The Support Leader role is part of our broaderjob family that focuses on providing assistance and guidance inexecuting strategies within the team or organization. This jobfamily is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our businessfunctions.
You will be leading alarge site’s Health, Safety and Environmental Systems withproductions involving different complex technologies and productsof different forms. You will be ensuring that we stay compliant andmaking our workplace ‘Safer Every Day’ through right interventionsacross different systems.
Your team
This role reports toSite Technical Systems Manager & leads a team of 4 qualifiedtechnicians in their respective HS&Esystems.

• Enabling a Safe Workplace where no one gets hurt throughHigh-Risk Task Eliminations, Learnings and reapplications, StrongBehavior and Culture Systems
RoleResponsibilities:
• Advise and assist the factory managementin the fulfilment of its obligation, statutory or otherwise,concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safeworking environment.
• Advisethe management of the factory in fulfilling obligations under alloccupational Safety and health related legislationsapplicable.
• Design andimplement the various creative initiatives in association with theconcerned departments like campaigns, competitions, contests andother activities which will develop and maintain the interest ofthe workers and enhance the workers participation in occupationalsafety and health management.
• Design and conduct either independently or in collaborationwith the training department, suitable training and educationalprograms towards occupational safety and healthmanagement.
• Coordinate withqualitative and quantitative risk assessment studies with eitherinternal or external resources and follow up the compliance of allthe recommendations/ suggestions.
• Coordinate all third-partyinspections/survey/investigations/testing and examinations eitherstatutory or otherwise aimed towards management of occupationalsafety and health.
• Investigate allreportable accidents and advise on the maintenance of such recordsas are necessary relating to accidents, dangerous occurrences andindustrial diseases.
• Carry outdetailed job safety studies and provide advice on matters relatedto carrying out plant safety inspections.
