JobDescription: As a member of the facilities team, you willbe responsible for supporting and assisting in the execution ofstrategies within the team and organization. Yourprimary focus will be on construction management, alongside ongoingfacilities maintenance, ensuring they meet the needsof our staff and align with our companystandards.
KeyResponsibilities:
Supportin executing strategies within the team andorganization.
Activelyparticipate in the planning, development, and implementation of newconstruction projects, including the introduction of innovativeideas, techniques, and procedures that enhance project efficiencyand effectiveness.
Focus onspecific tasks with clearly defined objectives at a local or sitelevel.
Collaborate withproject stakeholders to ensure that new construction meets designspecifications, budget constraints, and timelines while maintaininghigh standards of quality andsafety.
Engagewith contractors, architects, and other construction professionalsto facilitate communication and collaboration throughout theconstructionprocess
Monitorproject progress, ensuring adherence to project schedules andbudgets, and report on construction milestones and any issues thatarise
JobQualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’sdegree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture,or a related field. Professional certifications are aplus.
Awareness of relevantexternal (legal, tax) and internal (e.g., decision authority,procure to pay) stewardship requirements related to constructionmanagement and facilitiesoperations.
3to 5 years of relevant experience in construction projectmanagement across residential, commercial, or infrastructureprojects. On-site management experience ispreferred.
Proven ability tomanage construction projects from pre-construction throughcompletion, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resourcecoordination. (project management, and constructionmanagementprinciples)
Skills:
Strongknowledge of construction methods, materials, building codes,safety regulations, and quality standards. Familiarity withcontract administration and procurementprocesses
Proficiency inconstruction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MSProject, AutoCAD) and MS OfficeSuite
Solid understanding ofhealth, safety, and environmental regulations, with a track recordof maintaining safe and compliant constructionsites
Ability to identify,define, and analyze straightforwardproblems.
Abilityto accomplish tasks as an individual contributor with closesupervision, demonstrating a strong interest in developing skillsin construction management and facilitiesmaintenance.
