Job Type: Exempt/Full Time

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage one or multiple loan production branlches
• Recruit, hire and train mortgage loan officers

· Set up recruiting strategies and define direction for new market opportunities

• Develop a high-performing mortgage sales team through effective training, coaching and compensation strategies. Ensure that loan origination activities comply with internal policy and processes as well as with applicable regulations and laws
• Responsible for all supervisory functions for the branch, including, but not limited to, new account approvals, trade reviews/approvals, customer complaints, branch P&L
• Develop residential lending production and revenue forecasts, work with assigned mortgage sales team and Loan Officers in development of individual goals. Monitor individual and team loan pipelines
• Assist originators in developing marketing and sales strategies for new and existing business

· Responsible for mortgage loan production, marketing, and sales performance

· Evaluate financial performance on branches

· Devise and implement company’s sales strategy

· Implement a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Minimum 10+ years of Mortgage Industry experience

· Active NMLS and state licensing required

· Experience with hiring loan officers and developing branches

· 5+ years of demonstrated Managerial experience

· Demonstrated ability to manage a production-based environment in which performance is based on meeting targets related to speed, accuracy and quality

• Thorough understanding of the residential lending industry including existing and emerging compliance requirements, investor and agency guidelines and loan products & programs.

· Existing contacts in mortgage industry is highly desirable

· Experience with investors guidelines

· Comfortable in a high production role

· Ability to remain calm and positive in stressful situations

· Excellent problem-solving skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and quickly solve any problems that arise
