Sir Robert McAlpine Hiring for HR Apprentice at Bristol Full Time
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic HR Apprentice to join our People Team within our Southern Region whilst undertaking an 18-month HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship. The team member will be based in our Bristol or Woking office dependent on location.
You will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner and HR Advisor for the Southern Region and other team members, focusing primarily on HR in a fast-changing company. You will gain valuable insight into all areas of our business such as; business partnering, recruitment and people development.

The HR Apprentice role
The ideal candidate will be highly organised and able to prioritise tasks and keep on top of deadlines. You’ll need to have attention for detail and be confident at implementing processes and systems. Responsibilities will include:
Booking of training courses, liaising with training providers and processing of joining instructions
Produce standard letters including offers of employment, changes to terms and conditions, award letters etc.
Handling day to day telephone enquiries and resolving queries from and providing advice to employees and line managers
Your profile
You will be educated to A Level, or the equivalent, with minimum grades in GCSE Mathematics and English of A – C / 9 – 4. Ideally you will have experience of dealing with people in a customer service environment and have a high level of computer literacy.
