We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Finance Officer – Treasury to join our team at Singleton Council. In this role, you’ll make a real impact on the everyday lives of people within our community by achieving important outcomes for Singleton to grow and flourish.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a Finance Officer – Treasury to provide financial reconciliations, daily banking reconciliations.
With Certificate level tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, finance or a related discipline, you will be experienced in banking, credit card reconciliation and preparation of monthly reports. You will be able to demonstrate excellent computer literacy including keyboard skills and knowledge of spreadsheets. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and the ability to work within a team environment, including providing support to other roles as required.
A working knowledge of Local Government accounting processes and experience with corporate software applications will be well regarded.
You will be responsible for:

This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working 35 hours per week.
Remuneration for this position is based on 8 of the salary system which equates to a base salary between $61,759 to $69,472 per annum plus superannuation.
