Singh Accounting Services is a CPA firm located in Salem, Oregon providing bookkeeping, payroll, and tax services to small to medium-sized businesses. We are a growing accounting firm who is looking for professionals with experience in accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses. Applicant will work daily with the partner and have an opportunity for broad exposure to a variety of accounting activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Bank reconciliations – downloading transactions, posting to general ledger accounts, reconciling bank, loan, and/or credit card accounts
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve bookkeeping discrepancies
• Prepare accrual basis financial statements
• Strong financial analytic skills
• Accounts payable – manage and process timely payments
• Accounts receivable – create invoices and process payments
• Ability to follow project plans in conjunction with client needs
• Ability to multitask between different clients within a variety of industries

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
• proficient in QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks Online
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Able to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Remain professional and keep information confidential at all times
• Prior experience in a CPA or bookkeeping firm would be ideal but is not required. Must demonstrate attention to details, willingness to learn, and team cooperation.

Job Type: Part time with the ability to go full time

Pay: $23/hour + annual performance bonus
