Job Title: Dispatcher

-s to Transportation Manager

Job Summary

To allocate work to the transport team and contractor drivers to ensure the transportation of material to and from customer and Company sites is completed in a safe and efficient manner in line with company requirements.

Duties may include telephone or computer to transmit assignments, compiling statistics, and s on work progress.

Major Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrate personal responsibility for all Safety, Health, Environment, Community, and Sustainability (SHECS) policies, procedures, and initiatives
• Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment or service vehicles to appropriate using radios or telephones
• Arrange for necessary repairs to restore service and schedules
• Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews and supervisors using telephones or two-way radios
• Prepare daily work schedules. Receive or prepare work orders
• Oversee all communications within specifically assigned areas
• Monitor personnel or equipment locations and utilization to coordinate schedules
• Record and maintain file and records of dispatch information
• Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
