The Sales Representative will be responsible for cultivating B2B opportunities and the initiation and/or continuation of industry trade professionals journeys with Simply Group.

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

• Research and identify new business opportunities and seek out the appropriate contact in an organization
• Generate leads and cold call prospective dealers
• Meet with dealers face to face or over the phone in addition to fostering and developing relationships with them
• Understand the needs of your dealers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
• Think strategically – seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
• Work strategically – carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
• Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise dealers about them
• Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change and what is required of them
• Train dealers, they are responsible for initial with respect to Simply’s processes and protocols and periodically throughout the relationship as dealers onboard new sales reps, etc.
• Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
• Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
• Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate
• Keep abreast of trends and changes in the consumer finance world.
• Help to plan sales campaigns
• Create a sales pipeline
• Negotiate promotions with dealers
• Increase sales of the dealers
• Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior leadership
• Develop the business sales and marketing strategy for your dealers with their buy-in.

Qualifications Required:

• Experience in Sales, Marketing or related field.
• Experience in the Consumer Lending or Finance Industry
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable using a computer for various tasks.
