About our role

• Exciting leadership role, reporting directly into Global Services – Controllership (Located in Boise, ID, USA)
• Provide financial guidance, expertise, and recommendations to Business Management
• Direct and manage the overall Record to Report financial reporting activities
• Safeguard our assets by maintaining robust internal controls via sound financial systems and qualified financial teams

What will you do

• Establish and maintain effective reporting/monitoring /accounting controls, systems and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial information and data
• Oversee and coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and Australian GAAP (IFRS).
• Assist Category in monitoring controls and identifying operational costs and revenue drivers
• Manage and lead the R2R Process for assigned business areas/entities
• Oversee assessment, design and monitoring of controls over financial reporting
• Lead and/or participate in governance and optimization of R2R activities
• Liaison to Supply Chain Finance and FP&A teams
• Specific activities as applicable to customer or stakeholder needs
• Diverse leadership role, develop your team’s professional development and growth through results oriented focus, clear communication and direction, delegation and active career development and coaching
• Continually evaluate, alter and improve the function to respond to changing needs of the organization, new products, new business, individual initiatives and other activities

About you

• Significant Financial Management experience, including leadership responsibilities with a diverse and engaging leadership style
• Chartered Accounting qualifications and experience
• Growth mindset and the ability to accelerate and drive business and process improvements
• Strong business partnering and support experience
• Experience in strategic planning, driving performance, and providing strategic, commercial, and financial insight.
• Technology savvy and digitally aware
• To be successful you must have relevant Tertiary qualifications in Accounting and be CPA Qualified.
• FMCG experience preferred

Crucial to success will be the ability to develop relationships that foster structured information flow and decision making for both operational requirements and strategic initiatives. The role requires requisite technical abilities to integrate, interpret and deliver financial insight together with the confidence and presentation skills to facilitate and drive discussions.
