Simplistic Hiring for Finance Administrator Job at Remote Full Time

Simplistic is looking for a Finance Administrator to support our Finance department and provide financial leadership. The Finance department supports Simplistic’s growth over the long-term and financial accurate data is essential to the operations of Simplistic. Finance also plays an important role regarding strategic planning and influences the future direction of Simplistic.

In particular, we are looking for individuals who are analytical and have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to be flexible in a constantly changing environment. As a Financial Administrator this role could include:

• Provide administrative support to the CFO for financial and resource planning activities including funds allocation, financial control, budget forecasting and reporting.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reporting & analysis, leading Investment Planning efforts, P&L forecasts and prepare and present financial results
• Create and update spreadsheets of daily transactions
• Create and maintain custom reports within Shopify Plus
• Manage accounts receivable and payable
• Manage contract setup and billing for clients
• Process payroll and comply with reporting requirements
• Reconcile Sales and Use tax and monitor returns

Required Competencies

• B.S. in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and charts and using financial Excel functions)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks and Adobe Sign)
• Solid understanding of online banking platforms (Bank of America/CashPro knowledge preferred)
• Great understanding of bookkeeping procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Competencies

• Knowledge of administering HR programs including onboarding, 401K, benefits, and time-off

Pay: $47,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
