About the role

In this role, you will partner with the Transport businesses (Palfinger and TES) and provide commercial advice to the Transport Management Team. This will be achieved by managing the financial reporting of the Transport businesses providing accurate and timely financial information and commercial insight into the business results and processes.

Your skills and experience

• CPA/CA qualification with proven experience in a similar senior accounting role.
• Must be able sufficiently capable and tech savvy to be “hands on” in performing data analysis to investigate and resolve finance/system issues and support business initiatives.
• Must be excel expert and possess strong aptitude for understanding and developing reports to provide useful management information.
• Must have relationship building and negotiation skills and be achievement orientated.
• Able to work with structure, demands and expectations of a large multinational.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and grow the team.
• Strong commercial and business acumen and the ability to advise senior managers on financial matters.
• To display high levels of integrity and fortitude to ensure transparency and Sime Darby’s strong corporate governance is adopted by Transport businesses.

This is a permanent, full-time position and a competitive salary package will be offered to the right person.
