Silvus Technologies Hiring for Staff Accountant Job at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

The Company

Silvus is a rapidly-growing high-tech entrepreneurial company in the heart of West Los Angeles. The company delivers the most technologically advanced Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking (MANET) solution to multiple markets including: Law Enforcement; Unmanned Systems; and Military, among others. Silvus design and develop mesh systems that set a new standard for high-speed data transmission in challenging conditions. The company has experienced rapid growth over the past years and is expecting the rate of growth to continue with the introduction of new products and services.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare month-end close reconciliation including journal entry preparation
• Generate weekly cash flow report
• Participate in monthly inventory count, track, and verify variances
• Process reimbursement and record credit card accruals

• Maintain fixed asset, depreciation schedule
• Reconcile various balance sheet accounts
• Prepare annual business property tax
• Assist with audits and yearly reports and schedules
• Ensure all accounting processes are in accordance with GAAP standards
• Work with team to initiate new processes and procedures to support growth
• Additional Responsibilities as requested by management

Qualifications:

• 2-3 recent years of relevant accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Excellent attention to detail
• Team player and able to effectively communicate
• Manufacturing experience preferred (but not required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
