Silverthread Hiring for Senior Software Developer at Remote Full Time

In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to analyze, develop, and implement end-to-end software solutions. You will be responsible for the full development cycle, including gathering requirements, designing, coding, testing, documentation, and production releases of back-end services.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Programming fluency in Python
• Demonstrated ability to iterate quickly through prototypes
• Experience with databases and data manipulation
• Knowledge of multiprocessing/multithreading
• Experience with cross-platform development
• Able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with team-based design & development using version control (Git or similar), issue tracking, and continuous integration systems to address bugs faster & improve software quality
• Development ability in Linux and Amazon Web Services (AWS) with exposure to bash scripting
• Track record effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Able to proactively problem solve and guide client conversations with the goal of determining practical, innovative, and reliable solutions to meet their business needs
• U.S. Citizenship (required for government contracts)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field

Nice-to-Haves

• Development experience with Windows PowerShell
• Flask
• Microsoft Excel
• Experience with testing frameworks
• JavaScript (ideally ES6)
• CSS/HTML5 experience with an eye for design
• React and other web client MVC
• Microsoft Installer (MSI) development
