SMEDICAL CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST

SilverLeaf Practice Management Solutions is a small, independently owned company that has a passion for supporting small businesses in the medical field! We provide a wide variety of services that include billing, credentialing, virtual receptionist services, marketing, and MORE!

Qualifications

• Experience credentialing mental health nurse practitioners is highly preferred
• Experience with Medicare and Medicaid is required
• Ability to work independently with little direction
• Must be willing to provide services to multiple providers
• Must have your own equipment!

What You’ll Get To Do:

• Scrutinize provider applications and resumes for completion, consistency and accuracy. This includes quickly identifying any discrepancies, gaps of employment and other challenges that could negatively impact our ability to credential a provider
• Running queries and conducting compliance and sanctions monitoring, as well as immediately notifying leadership and leaders of negative findings
• Mailing, faxing and emailing to obtain verifications, references and other pertinent data from appropriate sources in a timely manner
• Working closely with our physicians, client medical staff departments, and any third party groups in order to follow up on outstanding items needed to complete files in a timely manner. This is to ensure that we meet applicable committee meeting dates and targeted start dates
• Collect on past due accounts

Hours & Availability

This is a part-time contract opportunity with a commitment of 20-25 hours per week! Our hours of operation are as follows:

• Monday – Friday: 8AM – 5PM (Mountain Time)

We currently do not offer benefits at this time.

Compensation

Your expertise and skills will be rewarded with competitive pay! The starting range for this position is $22 and is negotiable dependent upon skills and qualifications.
