SilverFern Chemical (www.silverfernchemical.com)is a growing USA Sales, Marketing and Chemical Distribution company thatspecializes in providing bulk specialty and commodity industrial chemicals tovarious industries (B2B). Products are supplied from both overseas and domesticsources. We have offices in Santa Barbara CA, and Seattle WA.

The Junior Accountant will provide administrative support to our Santa Barbara Management Team, and will assist our Senior Accountant by helping with the Accounts Payable function of the Company.

JOB DUTIES

· Prepare and process payments accurately and timely for amounts owed by the company.

· Review and verify purchase orders, statements, and invoices needed to prepare payments.

· Reconcile bills and balances accounts.

· Identify and resolve discrepancies.

· Track payment and transaction records using applicable systems.

· Maintain vendor files.

· Other Accounting projects as assigned.

· Other projects as assigned.

DESIREDBACKGROUND AND SKILLS:

· Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent work experience.

· Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Understanding of budgeting and cost accounting is very helpful.

· Experience with accounting software, ERP and CRM a plus.

· Effective organizational, time management, and analytical (math)skills.

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Strong work ethic and team-oriented mind set.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Willingness to take on projects and be a problem solver.

· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and handle confidential information

Pay: $47,000.00 – $62,000.00 per year
