Siletz Valley School is seeking talented and skillful educators passionate about teaching kids and helping them to learn. Siletz Valley Charter School (SVS) is seeking a Full-time (1.0 FTE) Middle School/High School Math Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year.

The qualified applicant must have:

• Appropriate licensure or the ability to obtain full licensure. (If you do not currently have an Oregon license, please let us know how you plan to obtain licensure prior to the start of the position in lieu of a license)
• Proficiency-based teaching experience
• Experience with standards based teaching, grading and rubric scoring
• A proven track record or experience increasing student achievement

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge about Common Core State Standards
• Research-based instructional strategies
• AVID experience
• Collaboration and team building

Benefits: Employer paid PERS, Medical, Dental, Vision insurance is pro-rated based on FTE.

Specific start date and salary may be subject to change upon approval of the 2022-2023 school calendar.

• Posted salary based on a 185 day contract.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,763.98 – $75,738.23 per year
